

He proudly service his country in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.
Rojelio was a professional boxer for many years in Corpus Christi. He instilled the love
of boxing through his grandchildren and always was eager to train them. His love for boxing
will remain in his grandchildren's hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Corina Reyes; his children, Rojelio Reyes, Jr. (Margaret), Ruben
Reyes (Elaine), Roxanna Sanchez (Pete), Patricia Reyes (Indercio), Irma Rodriguez (Marcus),
Ricardo Reyes, Norma Hight (Tim), Armando Reyes and Nora Zermeño (Benjamin). Also surviving
are 27 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Soila Sanchez and Josie Ramirez
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Funeraria
Del Angel-Memorial Holly with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Funeraria Del
Angel-Memorial Holly. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
