Roger “Bubba” Lee Simmons Jr., age 50, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 30, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, and was born on October 17, 1974, to parents Roger Lee Simmons Sr. and Mary Ellen Johnson.
Roger’s greatest passion in life was music. He will be remembered for his deep love of music and even composing his own. Roger also enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and living his life by the ocean. Roger also had a passion for life and helping those around him. He loved all his family and had a special bond with his beloved nephews and nieces.
Roger is reunited with his parents, Roger Lee Simmons Sr. and Mary Ellen Simmons. He leaves his legacy to his siblings, Michael (Diane) Simmons, Gretchen Johnson, Tanya (James) Palmer, and DeShawn (Najat) Simmons; nieces and nephews, Lawanda, LeVell, Zachary, Alexis, Zoi, Nathan, Olivia, and Darren; as well as numerous members of extended family and friends.
The family will be honoring Roger’s wishes of cremation. There are no services being held for Roger at this time.
