Ron was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose strength, work ethic, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He was the proud owner of Baldwin Roofing, where his dedication and integrity defined his career and earned him lasting respect and many friends in the community. A longtime and proud Mason, Ron lived by the principles of brotherhood, integrity, and service—values he carried throughout his life and work.
Outside of work, Ron found his greatest joy outdoors. He loved golfing and spending time in nature, especially fishing alongside his beloved wife, creating memories that his family will forever treasure. Whether on the green, by the water, or gathered with family, Ron’s steady presence and warm spirit made every moment brighter.
Ron will also be fondly remembered for his many sayings that brought smiles and laughter to those around him. Some of his favorites included greeting others with a cheerful “Hello, señor,” proudly saying “We put a roof on that,” and jokingly responding “stepped in what?” whenever he didn’t quite hear what someone said.
Ron was preceded in death by his father Frances Taylor, his mother Helen Taylor (Corbett), his wife Ann Taylor (Ash), and his brother Bill Taylor.
He leaves behind his loving children Brett Taylor (Angelica), Trisha Ward (Randy), and Candace Taylor (Mike); his cherished grandchildren Alan Valdez, Tiffany Taylor, Breann Taylor, Hazel Taylor, Corey Ward, Kaitlyn Bowden, and Jerry Staton; his precious great-grandchildren Lacey Bowden and Colson Bowden; and his sister Linda Ravellette. Ron is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral services and burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ron’s legacy lives on through his family, his work, his humor, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
