Rosa Maria Esquivel

Rosa Maria Puente Esquivel, 59, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born on August 5, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Trinidad and Rosa Puente, Sr. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked for the CCISD cafeteria department for 36 years until she retired.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Rosa Puente, Sr. and her son, Lee Neil Esquivel.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 43 years of marriage, Daniel Esquivel, Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas: her children; 2 sons, Daniel Jr. (Jeanette) and Chris (Kristen) Esquivel; two daughters, Rosa (Robert) Garza and Shakira Marie Esquivel: also her loving brothers and sisters: Cristina Zepeda, Esther Ortiz, Teresa Gonzalez, Trinidad Puente, Jr. (Susie), Melchor Puente, Daniel Puente, Albert Puente (Rosa) and Diana Trevino (Juan); three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel- 549 Cheyenne with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on March 27, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Private services will follow at a later date.
