Rosa Moreno Polendo, 76, passed away on July 21, 2017. She was born on May 12, 1941 to Regino and Petra Moreno in Gregory, Texas. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Regino and Petra Moreno; daughter, Irma Irigoyen (surviving, Luis); grandson, Jason; siblings, Ignacio, Mario and Manuel Moreno. Rosa is survived by her husband, Jose Polendo; son, Joe Alejos Moreno (Laura); grandchildren, Savannah (Kenny), Reggie (Elizabeth), Valerie, Brittany and Luis; great-grandchildren, Jazlyn, Jada, Roselee and Daniel; siblings, Elisa Moreno, Carmen Hernandez, Norma Linda Navarro, Consuelo Rodriguez and Mary Jane Hernandez. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
