Rosa Everett Rios, 93 passed away on March 9, 2018. She was 93. Rosa was born in San Diego on June 29, 1924. Rosa was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bingo and poker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elisa and Amado Everett; sons, Felix Rios Jr., Alejandro Rios; son in law, Paul Salinas; she was the last of all her siblings, Clara Rocha, Esperanza Cardenas, Blanca Cantu and Richard Everett. Rosa is survived by her children, Jesse Rios (Yolanda), of Hobbs, New Mexico; Edward Rios (Maria) of Austin, Texas, Tomas Rios, Michael Rios, Isabel Donahue (George), Anna Maria Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Rosa was always good to us. Yes we didn't see her often. But I do have great memories of her. Always very honest, you knew where you stood with her. My condolences to my cousins, I am sorry your mom is gone my Tia. RIP Rosa. We will see each other again.
