

Rosemary Lutz Anderson passed away on July 22, 2015. She was born on June 6, 1919 in Arcadia, Nebraska. She was raised in Arcadia, Nebraska and graduated from Arcadia High School in 1936. During WWII Rosemary volunteered with the Women’s Auxiliary Volunteer Enlisted Service (WAVES).
Rosemary married Arthur M. Anderson on May 17, 1945, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed participation in swimming and oil painting. Rosemary will always be remembered for her strong faith and love of family and her fright for water until the age of 70. She then learned to swim and eventually taught swimming to disabled children at the Y in Corpus Christi. Rosemary enjoyed being a grandmother to her precious grandson Tyler Byrd; he was the highlight of her life.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Andy” Anderson and daughter Barbara Rose Anderson; she is survived by her daughter Marva (Robert) Byrd and grandson Tyler Byrd.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 11:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
