Roy Dale Bennett

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 58 years, Norma Bennett of Corpus Christi, Tx; his children whom he adored: Patricia Miller (Darrell) of Corpus Christi, Tx; Roy Dale Bennett Jr. (Rhonda) of Lumberton, Tx; Dixie Andelman (Robert) of Portland, Tx; his grandchildren whom he delighted in: Aimee McCrite, Necia Aynes, Cindy Crisp, Joshua Crisp, Bradley Bennett, Brittany Mancil, Holly Williams, and Nicole Dillinger; and his great grandchildren who were the apple of his eyes: Hunter, Allison, Collin, Audrey, Bennett, Jett, and Parker; his brothers Bobby Bennett, Jerry Bennett, and Tommy Bennett and their wives; and his close friends Dwain and Sandy Seagler.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roy O. and Verda J. Bennett and his in-laws, M.J. and Louise Dupree.

He was a faithful member of Bible Believers Baptist Church and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He was known for his whistling and singing along to gospel music, being a hard working man, playing dominoes with family and friends, giving wisdom and advice, reading his Bible every morning, and spending all of his moments with his wife and family whom he cherished. Dale was a generous person who helped many people and gave of his time and money when he saw a need. He will be greatly missed but his memory will live on through his family who loved him dearly.
