Ruben Crispin Maldonado

Ruben was born to Crispin and Elia, April 6, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Moody High School in Corpus Christi in 1971 He married Graciela in 1974, and they lived together in Texas, Florida, Delaware, England, and Washington St. before settling in Edinburg, TX.

Together they raised 2 children. He is survived by: sons Gary Maldonado (Sabra), and Mark Maldonado (Cynthia). Grandchildren: Elizabeth Maldonado, David Maldonado, Gaige Boykin, and Garen Boykin. Ruben is also survived by his friend Kathy Nguyen.

He was preceded in death by his wives Graciela in 2003, Leticia in 2019.
Ruben served 20 honorable years for the United States Air Force, He worked 20yrs for the U.S. Post Office. He enjoyed traveling and wood working.

The visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Corpus Christi, located at 5830 Williams Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412, on December 9, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. A rosary will follow at the same location from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.

The funeral mass is scheduled for December 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Corpus Christi.

The committal will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on December 9, 2025.
