Rudy Saenz Sr.

Rudy Saenz Sr., 79, passed away on January 19, 2015. He was born in Benavides, TX on October 24, 1935 to Jose Saenz and Constancia Olivarez. Rudy retired from the construction industry after 57 years of service. 30 years of that time he was employed with APCCO. He was a friendly and loving person. He will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and neighbors.

Rudy is preceded in death by his wife, Francisca B. Saenz; grandson, Jose Rodolfo “JoJo” Saenz III and son-in-law, Benito Martinez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Jose “Rudy” Saenz Jr., Javier “Ronnie” Saenz (Mimi), Roslinda “Rosie” Rangel (Carlos), Rebecca “Becky” Martinez, Robert Saenz (Cindy), Roel “Roy” Saenz (Chris), Rogelio “Roger” Saenz (Yolanda) and Rachel (Edmundo) Dana; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Rudy also leaves behind 5 sisters, 3 brothers along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Chapel services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathon Saenz, Edmundo Dana Jr., Roger Saenz Jr., Robert Saenz, Rene Martinez, Arron Evans, Anthony Evans, Valerie Dana and Justin Wade.
