Ruth Magana

Ruth married her high school sweetheart Salvador Magana Oct 5, 1950. Together they had six children and were blessed to celebrate 66 years of marriage.

She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family and faith. Always by her husbands side, she supported him in every endeavor-from their years of ministry together visiting others in need, to helping him fulfilling his dream of opening a restaurant.

She worked for many years at Beneficial Finance. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and was a loyal supporter of her children, attending their games and activities.

In her later years she expressed peace and readiness-once saying she had a great life and had nothing left to ask God for.

She is preceded in death by her husband Salvador, daughter, Linda, sons, Mario and Robert and granddaughter Jamye Clark; her five siblings Priscilla Martinez, Mary Lou Valente, Phoebe McBride, Elizabeth Herrera, and Jimmy Martinez.

She is survived by her son Michael, daughters Doris Casarez and Cristina. Seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, her three siblings, Eunice Arriaga, Benjamin Martinez, and Ruben Martinez.

The family would like to thank Christus Hospice and staff with special gratitude to Robin Reagan for all the wonderful care they provided to our Mom.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am February 5, 2026 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
