I have known Mr. Yanez since I was 17 or 18 years old. He has always had a happy spirit about him and was almost always smiling. He was kind, sweet and helped us with a stalled vehicle at a drive through fast food restaurant. Adversity didn't phase him. His daughters and I waited for him and there he was getting us all home safely. Thank you for the priceless memories and your kindness for 30 plus years. You will be missed dearly. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Especially, Patricia, Rick, Beatrice (my best friend) and Rene and Marty and his loving granddaughter Marisa. You all are in my prayers. (Thank you all for posting such wonderful memories).

We met tio Salvador one summer when we visited you all including my Tia Chavela.
From the moment we met him he stoled our hearts. We saw him again at tia's, funeral, again he was so kind and friendly.
Third time we saw him was in Las Vegas at Rene and Lupe's weading. Again he was such a great person to be with.
Through out the years, he managed to contact me through face book. I have fond memories of tio Salvador.
May you all have the strength to deal with this difficult times.
Be safe and take care .
