Samuel G Diaz

His family and medical staff were by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord.

He was born to Esperanza and Manuel G. Diaz of Robstown, Texas on March 11, 1947. Samuel was a fun loving soul. He loved passionately and made his presence known everywhere he went. He will be dearly missed by many that adored him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Esperanza and Manuel G. Diaz and one brother, Felix Diaz.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Tomasa M. Diaz; his daughters, Emma D. Nunez (James), Nora D. Lara (Jose G.), Christina Diaz and Samantha D. Eckhart (Shane). Also surviving are his six granddaughters, Klarissa Nunez (Amanda R.), Kas-Sandra Nunez, Tommie Lara, Brianna Diaz, Ayesha Eckhart and Thalia Eckhart; three grandsons, Ryan Diaz, Lincoln Lara and Joe Andrew Gongora; one great-grandson, Randy Rodriguez; two sisters, Guadalupe Davila and Elida Rodriguez. He leaves behind several cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors on Tuesday, April 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, TX.
