Our Dad (Big Daddy’O) was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 8, 1969 and made serving Jehovah his life. He enjoyed talking to others about Jehovah and the promise of everlasting life on a paradise earth. His daily routine included Bible reading which further strengthened his love for his God Jehovah. He was very generous with his fatherly advice which was guided by Bible principles.
Dancing was one of his greatest hobbies (if those Stacy Adams could talk)! When he was not on the dance floor, he enjoyed camping with his family at Garner State Park (where there was always room for more dancing). Fishing was also a passion of Dad’s along with barbecuing for friends. He was known for his big, contagious smile, always telling jokes, and upbeat personality even when sick.
Our Dad will be dearly missed but we know that soon he will greet us as a healthy, energetic (maybe 6’4” as he always dreamed of being) person ready to pick up where he left off. (John 5:28, 29 ‘Do not be amazed at this, the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…‘)
We will always love our Big Daddy’O.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to Ester Guel, Iris Cantu, Catalina Soto and the many others who helped us care for our father. Your care, kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
