He is preceded in death by his loving wife Linda Curiel and great-grandson Darius Mendiola.
Sliviano is survived by his children Irene Curiel, Ida (Henry) Garcia and Ray (Cindy) Curiel; sister Molly Garcia and brother Joe (Mary) Curiel; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, July 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Services will then conclude.
