Sofia Reyes

She retired after servicing 32 years from the Municipal Court in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a volunteer at the Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital. She served her church as a Lector, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Guadalupana, Prayer Blanket Ministry, Sabatina O.L.O.G., Rosary Ministry C.S.H. Memorial, Holy Hour to Queenship of Mary C.T.K., Charismatic Prayer Group C.T.K., Legion of Mary, Carmelitas, Schoenstatt Ladies Legion, Divina Misericordia O.L.O. S.J., Volunteer cook for S.O.L.T, Priests Society, and made rosaries for FR. Ralph Jones from Stella Maris.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Felipa R. Gonzalez and brother-in-law, Ubaldo Mendiola.

She is survived by her sisters, Romana Mendiola and Mary Ramirez (Pablo). She also leaves behind to cherish her memories numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a continued visitation at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be as follows: Pablo Ramirez, Robert Mendiola, Carlos Mendiola, Paul Ramirez, Johnny Joe Ramirez and Jordan Mendiola.
