She had two daughters, Angelica Garza & Marie Esparza. Soila was very proud of her family, her home, and her work ethic. She spoke of the days of picking cotton, baking pies at Shep’s Chicken Shack from 1956 - 1984 and being a door greeter at the Wal-Mart on Greenwood. She was known for making tamales and pan de polvo cookies. She loved dancing and attending the Greenwood Senior Center where she would match her shoes with every outfit. She loved good Spanish music, watching her novellas and most nights you would find her socializing at the CC Bingo on Ayers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working on her yard, playing loteria and dominoes.
Soila is preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Dolores De La Rosa; her brother, Israel (Angie); her sister, Celia (Antonio); her brother-in-law, Espiridion; her son-in-law, Robert Esparza.
