STELLA RUTH BECK, age 78, passed away on June 29, 2018. She was born on March 20, 1940 to Floyd Stanley Morris and Dora Ruth Morris in Robstown, Texas. Stella was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated from Ray High School in 1958. She was married to the love of her life, George for 38 beautiful years in September of 1960.
Stella was employed by PPG Chemical, American Chrome, and also Macy’s. Stella was a loving mother, sister, aunt & wife. She was was crowned Queen of the Daughters of the Nile on two different occasions. Stella will always be remembered for her love of laughter and all of God’s creatures. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: George Beck, son: George Kevin Beck, Sister: Nancy Wiesen.
She is survived by sister: Janice Butler (David Butler); nieces and nephews, Gwen Tipton, Wynndy Howell, Wayne Wiesen, Melissa Ganer, Jarrett Ganer; 15 great nieces & nephews; and her beloved furry companions.
Chapel Service will be held at Cage Mills Funeral Directors on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
