Susana Almanza Aguilar

Susana Almanza Aguilar, 70, of Corpus Christi, Texas, proceeded into heaven on August 4, 2021. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 11, 1950. She attended Mary Carroll High School and later achieved her G.E.D.

Susana was married to Hector A. Aguilar for 42 years and had four children. She worked many jobs in her lifetime. Being a child caretaker was the most profound accomplishment in her heart. Susana’s greatest achievement in life were the successes of her children and the birth of her only grandson.

Susana is preceded in death by her mother and father, Wenseslado and Antonia Almanza; her brothers, Jesus, Ruben, and Ricardo Almanza; her sisters, Juana Sanchez, Petra Soliz, Guadalupe Clark, Eliza Meza, and Maria Rodriguez; and her daughter, Sandra Leeseth Aguilar.

Susana is survived by her husband of 42 years, Hector A. Aguilar; her daughters, Araceli (Adolfo) Hernandez and Alejandra (Anthony) Searcy; her son, Dr. Hector R. (Tomas Salinas) Aguilar; and her grandson, Jaron Daniel. She is also survived by her sisters, Amelia Villarreal and Margarita Serna.

Susana’s remains will be laid to rest at the Chapel Dulcinea in Austin, Texas at a later date by her husband, children (spouses), and grandson.
