Sylvia Cavazos Martinez

Sylvia was born on September 2, 1963 to Henry Cavazos and Lupe Cavazos in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Henry Cavazos

Sylvia leaves behind her Husband; Abraham Martinez, her Mother; Lupe Cavazos, her Siblings; Henry Cavazos Jr. and Linda DeLeon

She also leaves behind her children, Lilian (Jason) Craig, Arturo (Vanessa) Martinez, Melissa (Roger Rodriguez) Martinez, Michelle (Vicente) Villegas as well as 5 grandchildren; Jordan, Camille, Barrett, Carter, and Aurelia

Sylvia worked as a LVN Nurse for the Corpus Christi Independent School District for many years. She loved spending time with her children and watching their families grow. She often sang to her grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them about life. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and taking care of her pets.

Honoring Sylvia as pallbearers will be Jason Craig, Vicente Villegas, Roger Rodriguez, Les Snyder, Mike Alvarado, and John Elkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jordan Rodriguez and Barrett Craig.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. with an interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
