Teresa De la Cruz Lugo

family surrounded by her side. She was born to Fransico

and Amelia Barrera De La Cruz. Teresa was a wonderful mother and

grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to have her family around her,

loved to cook, attend to her garden and was always ready to lend a helping

hand to anyone in need. Her last couple of years, were spent around her

beloved family who cherished and loved her very much. She enjoyed listening

to Spanish music and watching her novelas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Meliton Lugo Sr.; children, Frank

Lugo, Alfredo Lugo, Ramona Perez, Cosme Lugo; her daughter-in-law, Rachel

Lugo; sister Olivia Salazar and brother, Reynaldo De La Cruz.

She is survived by her children, Armando (Sylvia) Lugo of Washington State, Meliton Lugo, Jr., Esther (Juan) Montelongo, Estella Perez, Terry (Raul) Montelongo and Linda (Raul) Medrano; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving family members.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 8, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

at Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, with a

holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012 at

the Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel and Interment to follow at Memory

Gardens Cemetery.
