

Born on August 26, 1949, in Robstown, Texas, Teresa lived a life centered around faith, family, love, and devotion to those she cared for most. She married the love of her life, Martin B. Naranjo, Jr., on August 22, 1971, in Bishop, Texas. Together they built a strong and loving family filled with treasured memories.
Teresa worked in housekeeping for the Human Development Center, where she was known for her dedication and hardworking spirit. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved puzzles, crossword books, music, dancing, relaxing at the beach, and watching her favorite entertainer, Jeff Gordon #24. She especially cherished long talks, watching television, and listening to music with family and friends.
Her family will forever remember her delicious cooking, especially during Easter gatherings, her heartfelt advice, and “the look” that spoke louder than words. Teresa’s strength, wisdom, and unconditional love made her the heart of her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria R. Fuentes; her beloved husband, Martin B. Naranjo, Jr.; her son, Martin (Drac) Naranjo III; her sisters, Maria Lydia Rodriguez and Anna Maria Torres; and her sister, Ruth Fuentes.
Teresa is survived by her loving daughters, Susana (Jesse) Naranjo of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Anita (Jose) of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings: Angelita Naranjo of Corpus Christi; Delma Long of Corpus Christi, Texas; Celestino Fuentes of Pharr, Texas; Rosalinda Laudenbach of Hatfield, Wisconsin; Jose Francisco Fuentes of Owatonna, Minnesota; Hermelinda Fuentes of Austin, Texas; Maria Elena Alfaro of San Marcos, Texas; Guadalupe Rodriguez of Robstown, Texas; and Jose Maria Rodriguez of Austin, Minnesota.
She also leaves behind 14 loving grandchildren and 21 cherished great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of White Orchid, Vanessa Gonzalez, and the staff of Rising Stars for their compassionate care and support during Teresa’s final days.
Teresa’s love, laughter, guidance, and unwavering devotion to family will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on May 26, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
A Rosary will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on May 26, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
A Religious Ceremony will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on May 26, 2026, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
