I remember spending so many weekends with you. Playing go-fish, dominos, or ten thousand. You would always have popsicles or some type of sweet to give me. We would go to the mall with mom. I can hear her telling you "Come on pokey. Get your roller skates on!" We would spend Saturday playing games, and then wake up in the morning to go to church. I will always remember you as a wholehearted Christian woman. You never had a bad thing to say. Never have even heard you raise your voice. A lovely lady who loved her family but most importantly loved God and Jesus. You are so missed. We love you so much grandma. I pray you're with grandpa up in Heaven. Until we meet again.💕

Aunt (Thelma) Jean was such a wonderful family sweetheart! She loved everyone as did we love her- but she made each one feel as though they were the special one to her. Her company, love and spirit will truly be missed.

To the kindest angel on earth, my momma. She would do anything for anyone with the kindest of words. She always had something beautiful to say about everyone and everything. She will be missed so very much and I know she will be in every beautiful thing I see. I feel her presence everywhere and feel her love and happiness. I know she will be with us kids, keeping her love strong in us and helping to watch over us. She is my angel. Love you to the moon and back...love you more!

I worked with Thelma at the Winns store in Saxet Center back in 1980. She was just the sweetest lady. Little did I know that years later , her grand child and one of my sons would play baseball together and that would start a friendship between Sonny and Kim and us. Wait it gets better. Years later my niece says she has meet the man she is going to marry! We all look at her like wow , that was fast ! After one date. She said yep! He likes to fish and golf! Well I be damn , he’s, Crystal Woodard’s son, Jacob! They have been married 3 years and have 2 kids now. What a small small world we live in. What a great family Thelma and her husband raised. Prayers for all. Kathy
