Thomas C. Dunovan, 80, of Corpus Christi, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Tom was born January 7, 1941, to Cecil and Marion (Osterman) Dunovan in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tom graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Psychology, and was a diehard fan of Nebraska Cornhuskers football. He was married to Virgilia Montes Dunovan on June 19, 1999, for almost 22 years.
Tom was a local Businessman of Real Estate Book for more than 30 years, and won the Penny Saver Account Executive of the year two years in a row in 1983 and 1984.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed and Clara Dunovan; his parents Cecil and Marion Dunovan; brother Robert Dunovan; son Tony Dunovan; grandchild Aleena, and his puppy named Whiskey.
He is survived by his wife, Virgie Dunovan; his children, Lindsey Dunovan of Corpus Christi, and Melony Houlihan of MO.; his grandchildren, Geanine Dunovan, Yvonne Garcia, Aleah Flores, Carlo Flores, Hannah and Hollis of MO.; his two beloved … babies, Brandy and Champagne; his sister in law, Mona Dunovan of Lincoln; his nieces, Angela Travo of Connecticut, Nisha Happle, Beatrice, and Ashley of Lincoln, and in-laws in the Philippines.
