Rev. Tommie T. Duhart

Rev. Tommie T. Duhart was born in Odem, Texas, the 5th of Henry and Phoebe Duhart. He had two sisters and four brothers. He pastored Lily of the Valley Church of God and Christ in Alice, Texas and Trinity Church of God and Christ until 2000 in Corpus Christi. His greatest loves were his God, his church, his family and friends. Tommie loved people and always had a smile. He enjoyed his times at Whataburger, where he had a conversation for everybody. Tommie was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He married Lucille Tolbert in 1950 and to this union one daughter was born on April 7,1957.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, four brothers and his wife, Lucille in 2000.With loving and glorious memories, Tommie is survived by his daughter, LaRaine Duhart(Roland Belyeu) of Corpus Christi; four grandsons and eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
