

Vicente was an avid reader and listener of music. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading and studying the Mayan and Aztec cultures, Napoleon, and military strategy. He enjoyed all kinds of music but particularly liked listening to classical and jazz music.
Vicente played saxophone in middle and high school and was a 1982 graduate of Roy Miller High School. He was a Certified Dental Technician and worked as a dental technician most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews Joe (Mari) Olvera, Mark Olvera, Juan Haparicio, Anel Haparicio, Elizabeth (Ruben) Vela, Javier (Adriana) Segovia, Michael Stark and numerous great-nephews and one great-niece.
Vicente was the youngest child of Jose L. and Margarita Olvera and was predeceased by his father. Vicente is survived by his brother Joe (Rosie) Olvera, and sisters Rosa (Johnny) Segovia and Elsa (Kenny) Stark.
Funeral services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on March 30 at 2:30p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
