Victor Roel Cadena

December 8, 1966April 24, 2021

Victor Roel Cadena, age 54, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Victor was born December 8, 1966 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Roel and Rose Cadena.

He was married to Valerie Cadena for six years and was employed by Master Pumps & Power.

In life, Victor embodied the terms Christian, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He took these roles very seriously, and he committed his heart to being the absolute best he could at each. He was present. Victor took the time to be present, you were always on the receiving end of his love just by spending a moment with him.

His love for the word of God was evidenced by the way he shared it with everyone, always in truth, always in love. The Bible was a way of life for him. His transparency about his struggles in life and his willingness to share the wisdom earned from those struggles gave everyone he spoke to hope and encouragement. Victor knew his spiritual gift and strength was to encourage people and he fulfilled that mission in spades. The testimony we have seen by so many that he encouraged is the proof.

Victor loved his wife and his children with great devotion and he dedicated every day to the work of praying, providing, and protecting them. His family will be blessed for generations because of his faithfulness. Victor knew the promises God made to those who serve him and he believed his sacrifice would not return void. Therefore, in union with Victor, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we give God all the Glory and Thanks for his life and the beautiful memories each of us have of the time we spent together.

Victor is preceded in death by his father, Roel Cadena.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Cadena, his Children, who he adored: Nicole, Kelli, Casy, Jay, Jonathan, Justin, Josiah, Jonah, and Jeremiah; his mother, Rose Cadena; Sisters, Anna Lisa and Christina Cadena.

Visitation, viewing, and funeral service will be held at New Life Church, 5801 McArdle Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78412 on Monday, May 3, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Vic you will be sorely missed! I am blessed to have known you over 25 years. We worked, prayed, served and competed together. You always saw good in everyone you met and treated them with respect. I know you you were a positive influence on many and helped as many as you could. Farewell my friend until I see you again. Every time I see a bright ray of sunshine I'll know you are watching over me.

I remember working out and competing at many powerlifting meets together for years. You always had my back when working out, competing , and in life. We knew we could always count on each other to pick either one of us up.

I know you are lifting weights right now.

I will forever miss you buddy.

Victor, you are always going to be remembered as a "man after God's own heart". You epitomized the Godly man, husband, and father to all who knew you. May the Lord bless your wife and children with peace and comfort and know that you are now in the presence of our Heavenly Father. See you on the other side!

See you on the other side Victor! You were a great guy. Enjoyed our childhood together...and enjoyed our facebook reunion 40 years later!
Your memory will live on forever in our minds.
