Victor was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures and believed that kindness was one of the greatest gifts a person could give. Known for his generous heart and humble nature, he never sought recognition for the good he did. Instead, he quietly offered a helping hand, a kind word, or support whenever someone needed it. His selflessness and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A devoted sports fan, he rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Whether it was watching the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays, following the Houston Astros throughout baseball season, or cheering for the San Antonio Spurs, he celebrated every victory and remained loyal through every challenge. Game days were among his favorite times, often spent surrounded by family and friends.
Though he lived a simple life, the love he gave was extraordinary. He valued time with his family above all else and found happiness in being with the people he loved most. His generosity, steady presence, and genuine care for others became the foundation of the relationships he built throughout his life.
Victor will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Hortensia Lara and Victor O. Lara.
His memory will forever live in his wife, Mary Lou Isaguirre; stepsons, Ruben Isaguirre (Ida), and George Garcia (Liz); and numerous extended family and friends. His legacy is one of humility, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those who were blessed to call him family and friend.
Victor’s family would like to give a special thank you to Pastor Bill Banda and all the church family of Love & Grace Church of God for all their prayers and support. As well as the Staff of Enhabit Hospice for overseeing Victor’s care with such love and support.
