Violanda A Martinez

In her early years, Violanda worked at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. She loved attending Our Lady of Guadalupe church and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Catarino and Reynalda G. Aguilar; two brothers, Vitalio Maldonado, Vilsen Maldonado, and a sister, Virginia M. Perez.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ricardo R. Martinez; her children, Melissa A. Martinez, Richard (April) R. Martinez and Marcus (Rachel) D. Martinez; her grandchildren Destiny A. Rodriguez, MaCaitlyn L. Martinez and Matthew Martinez. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories her siblings, Virgilio (Sylvia) Maldonado and Vicenta (Encarnacion) Aguilar; also her sister-in-laws, Lilia Maldonado and Maria Maldonado.

Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a rosary at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
