She was preceded in death by husband, Ramon Vigil Martinez, her sons, Armando Martinez, daughter, Gracie Chavez, Siblings: Juan Nesmith, Dionicio Nesmith Jr. , Parents: Ramona & Dionicio Nesmith Sr.

Virginia is survived by her children: Viviana Salazar (Rosendo) Irma Martinez, Rosa Vasquez (Carlos), Alma Martinez, Virginia Mills, Sandra Martinez (Jacob), Francisco Nesmith (Rosie) Grandchildren: Rosendo Salazar Jr. (Rosario), Roberto Salazar (Rebecca) Angelica Salazar, Armando Salazar, Robert Martinez (Michelle), Joseph Gutierrez, Carlos Vasquez, Jr., Sandra Vasquez, Juanita Vasquez (Lupe Jr.), Estevan Martinez (Chris), Lizabeth Laure (Marcos), Roxanne Jasso, Azalia R. Reyes (Servando) Marky Martinez, Aaron Jasso, Monica Martinez, Juan Ramon Martinez, Ruben Martinez (Lacey), Richard Martinez, Raquel Segundo (Carmelo); also surviving are her SIBLINGS: Estella Cavazos, David Nesmith (Lydia).

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel with prayer service at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Segunda Yglesia Bautista. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
