

On the evening of February 28, 2016, Vivian passed away peacefully of natural causes. Vivian was being visited and comforted by family and members of the Life Oak Nursing Home, in George West, Texas at the time of her passing. Vivian was 89 years old.
Vivian Katrina Robinson was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma on January 1, 1927. She was the daughter of Lee Roy and Mernetter Terry.
Vivian was a faithful follower of Christ who was known for her tenacity, love, and compassion for others. She married the love of her life Bobby Jean Robinson and raised two daughters. She enjoyed the great outdoors and spent many years camping and exploring campgrounds in the south Texas area. Vivian also enjoyed embroidery and cross stitching, her friends and family were often the recipients of her handiwork. Prior to her convalescence, Vivian was an active member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, in Corpus Christi, Texas and later the Brush Country Cowboy Church in George West, Texas. Vivian always went out of her way to make sure her friends and family were able to attend church. Vivian was instrumental the faith formation of her grandchildren and their children.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Jean Robinson and her daughter Sandra Kay Robinson, and a great grandson.
Vivian is survived by her daughter Peggy Jean Valentine, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
