Walter served his country just after WWII in the Merchant Marine, as a Navy Seabee and an Army Paratrooper.
Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara; daughter, Lelia; and sons, Wallace and Fred.
He is survived by son, John (Jenny) of Baytown, TX, and daughter, Nancy Noll (John) of Highlandville, MO; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Walter was a loving father, devoted husband, and a good man who helped many people in his life. He will be greatly missed!
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016, with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Austin Reid, Nicholas Reid, Shawn Reid, Luke Noll, Leonard Long, and Daniel Castellanos.
