Willie C Ruiz

In Loving Memory of our beloved father, Willie C. Ruiz who passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was born on October 30, 1934 in Banquette, Texas. He graduated from Del Mar College as a Registered Radiology Technician and worked at Christus Spohn Hospital for over 30 years. He also worked at Coastal Cardiology Associates well into his retirement. He was a father of three children, grandfather of 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in his death by his deceased Father Francisco Ruiz, Mother Theresa Ruiz, Sister Rosie Ruiz Pantoja, Brother Gumecindo Ruiz and infant sister, Yolanda Ruiz. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife of 58 years Ambrosia Ruiz. He is cherished by his son Joel Ruiz, Sr (MaryLou), two daughters Debra Ruiz Arsto (Farmand) and Melissa Ruiz Dimas (Demitrius). His Grandchildren Joel Jr. Ruiz, Celeste Dimas, Amber Ruiz, John Arsto, Demitrius Jr. Dimas, Laura Arsto, Daria Arsto and a Great Grandson Jack Ruiz. He was blessed to have been part of each of his grandchildren lives. He is survived by his beloved siblings Gloria Ruiz (Carlos) Benavidez, Hector (Sylvia) Ruiz, Gracie Ruiz (Ramon) Flores, Amanda Ruiz (Ralph) Benavidez, Frank (Olivia) Ruiz, Raul Ruiz and Arturo Ruiz.    Open visitation will be on June 28, 2013 from 5-9 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road 78415 Corpus Christi, Texas (ph.# 361-265-9221) with a Rosary at 7 pm that same day. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Saturday June 29, 2013 at the same place (Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery).  The Pall Bearers will be Joey Sr., Joey Jr. Ruiz, Demitrius Sr., Demitrius Jr. Dimas, Arturo Ruiz, Hector Ruiz, Farmand and John Arsto. He will be greatly missed by many but he will be now reunited with the lord our god.
