Yolanda Villarreal Sanchez

Yolanda was born to Ramiro and Esther, September 23, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from West Oso High School in 1977. After 37 years, she married Jose (Jesse) in 2022. Together they raised 2 daughters.

She is survived by her husband, Jose de Jesus Sanchez, 3 daughters, Jessica DeAnn Sanchez, Gabriela Sanchez, and Jenny Yvette (Lee) Sumpter, 2 grandsons, John Abraham Rodela, Maddox Alexander Rodela and 2 granddaughters, Kaylee Frances Sumpter and Megan Sumpter. She also leaves to cherish her memory of siblings, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Esther Villarreal, sisters, Angie Flores and Diana Lamar Vaca, and brothers, Ruben, Ramiro Jr. and Jesus (Jesse) Villarreal.

Yolanda worked as a Sales Associate for Walmart for almost two decades. She enjoyed singing karaoke, spending time with her beloved grandsons and supporting her favorite sports teams such as the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Friday, August 29, 2025, 6:00 P.M. (Rosary at 7:00 P.M.) at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Eleazar (Larry) Rodriguez will officiate the ceremony. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all who have supported them throughout the last few months and continue to do so as they navigate the loss of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
