She married Frank Morales, Jr. and had two sons, Ralph and Anson Morales. Yolanda was called “Grandma Kitty” by her 9 grandchildren. Yes, 9 wonderful grandbabies! She loved the Dallas Cowboys, all the neighborhood cats and spending time with her boys, Ralph and Anson, but most of all she LOVED watching her grandson play football and her granddaughters dance.
In her prime, Grandma Kitty was the life of the party and she loved to dance. At night, before bedtime you could find her with her rosary saying all her prayers. She also enjoyed watching First 48 Hours, COPS, Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Files.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Nerios; father, Blas Nerios; brothers, David DeLeon and Carlos Nerios; sister, Bertha DeLeon and nephew, Mark Banuelos.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Morales (Amy) of Katy, TX and son, Anson Morales of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Connor Morales, Camryn Morales, Kaylee Morales, Breanna Morales, Jenica Burns, Tristen Morales, Hailey Morales, Steven Morales and Sean Perez. She also leaves behind her brothers, Richard Nerios (Anita), Blas, Jr., Nerios (Maria), and Benny DeLeon; several nieces, nephews as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was an amazing mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandma, aunt and friend to many. She will be missed but forever in our hearts.
