Barbara Stottlemire

September 1, 1939April 16, 2021

Barbara Ann Stottlemire, age 81, of Columbus, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Thomas James and Mildred (Mabe) Bratton.

Barbara is survived by her seven children, Vicki (Bruce) Hammond, Judi Cossin, Randy (Susan) Stottlemire, John A. (Anishia) Stottlemire, Barbara Sue (Timothy) Short, Scott (Tara) Stottlemire and Johnna (Mickey) Kredel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one sister, Sandra (David) Miller. Along with her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, John Griffith Stottlemire who passed away on July 7, 2010, her son, Charles “Tommy” Stottlemire and sister, Charlotte Stottlemire.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joel Mason officiating.

Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be in place and there will be a limited number of people inside the funeral home at a time. We also ask that you please wear a face mask at all times for the health and safety of our guests and employees.

Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.

Sure gonna miss you mom. I regret so much that I won’t be there to say goodbye, but you of all people know the trucking life and I will come say goodbye once I get home.
Just know you were very important in my life and you sure taught me that I would want a wife and mother just like you. Thank you so much for being the mother that you are. Enjoy the peace you now have you deserve it.
