

Bernie was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. After his time in the military, he worked as a dispatcher at Texas Eastern Pipeline for over 30 years.
He was a lover of railroads, model trains, and his dogs, which he often took to railroad watch with him. He was also a faithful Christian and attended the Life Tabernacle of Lebanon. Bernie will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Roger Beighley of Coshocton; his nephews, Bryan Beighley of Coshocton, Brett Beighley of Wexford, Pennsylvania, and Chris Popadak of Dayton; and his longtime friend, Marianne Austin. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Along with his parents, Bernie is preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Popadak; his brother, Larry Beighley; and his half-sister, Virginia King.
Calling hours will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Todd Green officiating. Burial will take place after the funeral at Union Cemetery in Port Washington with the Newcomerstown Veterans Council Honor Guard conducting military honors.
