Darlene K. Rice

Darlene worked at Revco and CVS Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician for 20 years before retiring on May 31, 2004.

She was a long-time member of the Coshocton Baptist Church. She loved to read and watch NASCAR.

Darlene married Robert A. Rice on July 10, 1961. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2016.

She is survived by her two children, Marge Donley of Conesville, Ohio and Bob Rice of West Lafayette, Ohio; four grandchildren, Darcy (Matt) Rehm of Conesville, Ohio, Lacey (Ramon) Jacobs of Fresno, Ohio, Cortney (Alan) Hubbard of Montgomery, Texas, and R.C. (Ana) Rice of McKinney, Texas, as well as three great-grandchildren, Rhyan Hubbard of Montgomery, Texas and Roman and Caley Jacobs of Fresno, Ohio.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Rice, her mother, Marjorie Geerts, her father, Fred Geerts, and her brother, Jim Geerts.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home, and also on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Paul Schwab. Interment will take place at South Lawn Cemetery.

Darlene’s family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice for the love and incredible care they gave Darlene.
