David Brian Glazier

David Brian Glazier, age 75, of Coshocton, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on August 31, 1951, to the late Robert and Inez (Baker) Glazier.

He was a 1969 graduate of Coshocton High School and a 1971 graduate of the Muskingum Area Technical College with a degree in Electrical Engineering. On April 21, 1972, he married Joyce (Fisher) Glazier.

Dave worked for American Electric Power at the Conesville Generating Station, for 34 years before retiring in 2010. He also co-owned the Roscoe Colonial Pool and Campground for 15 years.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church; and past member of the Lions Club and Elks of Coshocton. Dave enjoyed golfing, running, taking his dogs to Lake Park, and watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. Most importantly, Dave loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching their sporting events.

Along with his wife, Joyce of 54 years, Dave is survived by his two loving daughters, Jamie (Brian) Six and their son, Brayden Six of Pickerington and Lindsey (Ryan) Forbes and their children, Baylor, Jex and Isla Forbes of Granville. Siblings, Robert Glazier of West Lafayette, Doug (Arlene) Glazier of Ft. Myers, FL., Janet (Joe) Dellutri of Dade City, FL., and Greg (Marina) Glazier of Coshocton; sister-in-law, Janice (Mike Foughty) Stotler of Coshocton and several nieces and nephews.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law, George (Eileen) Fisher, mother-in-law, Lena Fisher; sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Fritz) Metz and sister-in-law, Kay Glazier.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating. Burial will be held at South Lawn Cemetery.
