

Dorothy O. “Dot” Wilson, age74 of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 6, 1937 in Johnstown, KY to Charles and Martha (Coffee) Cantrell. Dot graduated from Union High School and worked at McDonald’s Restaurant for 17 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coshocton; she enjoyed reading, walking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Peggy Sue) Wilson of Coshocton and Jeffrey (Debbie) Wilson of Columbus; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wendell and Mel Cantrell and one sister, Jeri Bemus. Along with her parents, Dot is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Paul Cantrell and six sisters, Nell Hill, Lee Pierce, Jean Guthrie, Ileen Hilton, Ruie Mae Cantrell, and Lurie Faye Cantrell. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 27, from 2-4:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Dot’s name to Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center, 100 South Whitewoman Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
