Eunice Marie Barrick

Eunice Marie Barrick, age 76, of West Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Lafayette Pointe Care Center. She was born on August 27, 1950, in Coshocton, to the late Charles Robert and Ruth Marie (Newell) McCormick.

Eunice was a Home Health Aid for many years and was a member of Gospel Hill Ministry. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching their sporting events and going to the fair with them. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her two loving children, Melissa Thompson of Coshocton and Chris Barrick of Coshocton; two grandchildren, Haley (Josh Slaughter) Thompson and Justin (Kenzie Albertson) Thompson; great-granddaughter, Blakely Slaughter; brother, Ben McCormick; nieces, Deb and Susie Mounts, and several other family members.

Along with her parents, Eunice is preceded in death by her brother, Cyrus McCormick, sister, Susie (Paul) Mounts.

Per Eunice’s wishes, a private service will be held.
