Gregory Caley

Gregory L. Caley, age 61, of Coshocton, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Coshocton on September 25, 1949 to the late Edward and Doris (Walters) Caley. Greg was a United States Veteran serving in the Army from 1970 to 1972. He worked for Clow Water System’s and then moved to California for 15 years, managing a bowling alley, and working at various jobs until he returned to Coshocton and worked at Pretty Products for several years. Greg enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. He is survived by his son, Gregory L. Caley Jr. of Texas; sisters, Donnette (Jeff) Roberts of Coshocton and Pam (Steve) Swigert of Coshocton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Shelly Roberts. Per Greg’s wishes, a cremation will take place and a gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton, from 11-12:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at South Lawn Cemetery at 12:00 pm on Wednesday with the Coshocton County Veterans Council performing military honors.
