He was born on November 1, 1944 to Andrew Glenn Adams and Edna L. (Baumgardner) Adams Fenty.
He was a graduate of New Concord High School, class of 1962, the first to receive a diploma in the new John Glenn High School. After school, Harold entered the Ohio National Guard proudly serving his country during Vietnam.
Harold retired from Zanesville Chevrolet (Whites) after 40 years as a Master Technician. He enjoyed wood working, fixing and restoring cars, making and rebuilding clocks, playing his guitar and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Fenty of Newcomerstown, five children, Pamela (Denny) Duncan of Dover, Joe (Kelley) Adams of Shawnee, Jodie (Donavan) Callihan of Crooksville, Jim Adams and Kim Latham of Parma Heights, seven grandchildren; sister Beverly J. Scott of Newcomerstown, three brothers, James R. (Pamela) Adams of Coshocton, Terry Adams of Coshocton, and Steve Adams of Newcomerstown; one niece and four nephews.
Along with his father, Andrew Adams, Harold is preceded in death by his grandparents, Spencer and Sylivia Adams and Claude and Ida Baumgardner.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio 43812. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow at New Bedford St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in New Bedford, Ohio.
