Harold Dale Nelson, 88, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2014, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born on February 18, 1926, in Coshocton County, Ohio, the son of the late Walter and Ethel (Davis) Nelson.
He was a lifelong truck driver, and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War ll.
He was married to Dorthea (Douglas) Nelson , who preceded him in death. He is survived by his son: Alan Dale Nelson, and his daughter: Ginger (Steve) Elliott, both of Coshocton, and his three step daughters, thirteen grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and six great- great grand, two sisters: Nadine and Lois. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held in Franklin Cemetery on Monday, October 6, 2014, at 11:00am, officiated by the Coshocton Co. Veterans Council. There will be no calling hours.
