Hilda M McAllister

Hilda M. McAllister, age 88, of West Lafayette, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. She was born on July 15, 1926 in Cottageville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Floyd and Marsha (Mahon) Pringle. She was a graduate of Rome Cannan High School, and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette, Ohio. On February 8, 1951, she married Robert F. McAllister, who survives. She is also survived by her two sons: Steven (Karen) McAllister of Fresno, Ohio, and Robert K. (Donna) McAllister, of Lake Worth, Florida; her three granddaughters: Amanda McPeek, and Lauren and Danielle McAllister; and her four great-grandchildren: Matthew, Logan, Cody, and Haley McPeek; and her sister, Carmelita Schaffer of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her grandson: Travis McAllister; her two brothers: John and George Pringle; her three sisters: Wanda Duff, Aldine Garner, and Tola Swartz. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette, Ohio, on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Kraft officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends and neighbors on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in West Lafayette, Ohio, and until service time on Thursday.
