Dick was a lifetime member of the Coshocton Elks, past chief of North Tuscarawas Fire Department in Canal Lewisville, Ohio and a baseball coach for many years for his son, Chad. He was a proud supporter of all activities that his children and grandchildren were in. He was a member of Central Christian Church, where he was a Deacon Emeritus. Dick loved helping people all of his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David (Cathy) Dile and Chad (Crystal) Spinks and two daughters, Denise (Ken) Fairall and Dee (Curt) Carpenter. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Garnet Dile, grandson, Nathan Dile and mother-in-law, Patricia Laird and Lois Settle Laird.

Per Dick’s wishes, he wants to be cremated and no services, whatsoever. Memorial Contributions may be made to Central Christian Church in Coshocton, Ohio. The family would like to thank Sycamore Run, Interim Hospice in Coshocton and Lifecare Hospice in Wooster for the wonderful care given to him.
