Janet Marie Mercer, of Coshocton, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Lafayette Pointe.

She was born on January 27, 1940 to the late Charles Wayne and Dorothy (Lacy) Shroyer in Dresden. She was retired from the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. She loved to craft and go antiquing. Janet is survived by her children, Dean Mercer of Coshocton and Keena McMullen of Lancaster; grandchildren, Will (Jasmine) Mercer III, Amy Mercer-Tillema, Andrew Mercer, Amber (Gary) Goddard, Heath (Samantha) Mercer. Paige (Corey) Meeks and Jade McMullen; great-grandchildren, Makaily Mercer, Cooper Mercer, Annlynne Tillema, Katlynne Tillema, Jayla McCurdy, Tanner Goddard, Amber Goddard, Emmalee Goddard, Braylee Mercer, Brantley Mercer, Ruger Poorman and Baylie Meeks; great great-grandchildren, Marissa Bunton, Hayden Bunton and Jaxton Bunton as well as siblings, Judy Bice, Wayne Shroyer and Kathy Luckeydoo.

She is preceded in death by her sister, JoAnne Foraker; son, William Russell Mercer Jr. and step-mother, Hallie Shroyer

Calling hours will be at the Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 5 to 6pm with a funeral service following at 6pm.

Due to health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, social distancing measures will be in place and we are only allowing 10 people inside the funeral home at a time. We also ask that you please wear facemask at all times for the health and safety of our guest and employees.
