Jean Goodwin

Jean H. Goodwin, 85, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away on May 6, 2013, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Meriwether, Georgia, the daughter of the late John and Mandy (Scott) Suchia. Mother Goodwin was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, and had received the title of Advanced Senior Mother. On October 31, 1946, she married Honorary Senior Bishop Thomas T. Goodwin, Sr., of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, who survives. She is also survived by seven children, four sisters, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of her life will be held in the Tabernacle of the House of Jacob, Bethlehem Twp. Coshocton Co., Ohio, on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 1:00pm, with Honorary Senior Bishop James Mathias Pearson and Senior Bishop James Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in MacPelah’s Burial Acres. The family will greet friends and family at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio, on Friday, May 10, 2013, from 5-7pm.
