

Jo met her husband of over 50 years, John, on his mother’s school bus route. They began dating and eventually married on April 29, 1973. Jo graduated from River View High School in 1973, after which she joined John where he was stationed with the United States Air Force. Jo and John went on to have two girls, Debra and Beth.
Jo was faithfully involved in Relay for Life, and she enjoyed reading historical and Amish fiction. She was a member of the Light Keepers at Gospel Hill Ministries, where she attended church services regularly. Jo loved listening to Loretta Lynn, staying in touch with loved ones, playing cards, and softball. She also enjoyed collecting angels and watching Westerns. In her younger years, Jo coached her daughter’s youth league softball team. She was loved by many.
Jo was preceded in death by her husband, John Paazig, her daughter, Debra Kay (Paazig) Fowler, her parents, Bill and Mona (Moore) Mounts, and her siblings, Nancy (Mounts) Wood, Michael Mounts, and Jim Mounts.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann (Paazig) Brady and husband Jamie. Jo is also survived by her grandchildren, JoAnna Fowler, Jared Brady, Austin Fowler, as well as her great-grandchildren, Aayla Rae Brady and Ivy June Fowler, and her siblings, Bill Mounts and Mary (Mounts) Gragg.
A memorial service for Jo will be held at a later date at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home.
