Kevin Gene Hardesty, age 49, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016, due to a Motorcycle accident. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on December 3, 1966, to the late Kenneth and Lillian Hardesty.
Kevin graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1985. He loved music; Kevin sang, played the guitar, banjo, and fiddle. He was an extremely smart and crafty man. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his two children, Amber Hardesty of West Lafayette, and Kevin (Kaitlin Klusty) Hardesty of Canton; four grandchildren, Alexia Hardesty, Leanna Kapolka, Sylence Hardesty and Sylas Hunt; several sisters and brothers; girlfriend, Margie Peterson; sister-in-law, Rhonda Hardesty; nephew, Chad Alubaugh; and former wife, Lisa Hardesty.
Along with his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Kenny Hardesty.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 3:00 pm at Given-Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date.
